Protect Your Firearm From Rust

XeroMag helps protect stored firearms from corrosion by combining two proven technologies in one compact, magazine-shaped device. Each XeroMag contains activated-alumina desiccant to remove moisture from the air and a volatile corrosion inhibitor (VCI) to help protect metal surfaces from corrosion.

Patent-Pending Dual-Action Protection, Right Where You Need It

Instead of relying on a desiccant container elsewhere in your safe, XeroMag puts moisture control and corrosion-inhibiting technology directly within the firearm it protects. The desiccant helps keep the surrounding air dry, while Cortec VpCI material releases a protective vapor that reaches metal surfaces throughout the firearm—including internal areas that can be difficult to reach with oils or other manually applied protectants. Because XeroMag installs in place of the magazine, the protection stays with the firearm wherever it is stored.

Easy to Use

Completely unload and clear the firearm, remove the standard magazine, and insert the compatible XeroMag. When you’re ready to use the firearm again, simply remove the XeroMag and reload.

Long-Lasting Protection

The VCI component is designed to provide corrosion-inhibiting protection for up to two years under appropriate conditions. The included humidity indicator card helps you determine when the desiccant should be recharged or replaced. Replacement desiccant is available from XeroTek.

Designed and Manufactured in the USA

XeroMag was designed by XeroTek and is manufactured in the United States using U.S. and imported materials and components. The desiccant, VCI material, and humidity indicator cards are sourced in the USA, while the XeroMag body is manufactured in the USA using domestic and imported materials.
